• THE STORYIn 2014, Mineralis was involved in supplying raw materials for the wind farm in Delfzijl. In total, 19 windmills were constructed on the Strekdam and the Pier van Oterdum. 
  
  The sand came from the Ems River in Germany, so it was sourced as close as possible to the work. The result was a shorter sailing distance, thus reducing CO2 emissions. This wind farm will provide electricity to 60,000 households in accordance with Eneco's calculations.
