N358 Lutkepost-Augustinusga

• THE STORYAt the start of 2015, Mineralis supplied sand for the upgrade of the provincial road (N358) between Lutkepost and Augustinusga. 
  
  The sand came from the Heechsân sand pit, so the distance to the work was quite short. This also meant low CO2 emissions.
  
  The connections from the Dijkhuisterweg and the Izermieden to the N358 will be improved and the main roadway will be moved slightly. There will also be passing lanes for agricultural vehicles. These changes will soon make the provincial road safer and improve traffic flow. The expectation is that the project will be completed during the autumn of 2015.
